Daring To Compare Modern Life To Job
DARING TO COMPARE MODERN LIFE TO JOB
If you think it’s disrespect
And to me you do object
Remember each soul has its grief
Being judge is like a thief
How can one soul judge another
One will grieve the loss of mother
One will long for dying child
Neglected sister has gone wild
Each soul bears its crying pain
As ‘neighbors' keepers' we remain
Here to comfort those who suffer
Here to be their earthly buffer
As small children this we learn
but as we age so deftly spurn---
We're called to view each suffering face
And put ourselves in each one’s place.
