Here's to you, Dandy Don, ol' mate! We in Soup jes' think you're great! Ye who dwell in the land of the dingo, 'ave learned us to speak native Aussie lingo! Our kindest regards to yer dog Bungeye Jack. 'e does a kindness in warmin' yer back! Don't tipple too much good ol' Foster Brew, For like a boomerang, 'twill come back to nettle you! Keep on crankin' out them ballads fer our delight,' And ol' Bob Hopeless'll see what he can write. It's gittin' late so I'm gonna knock off and hit the hay. A good, fun write, Bob. I've been away from the Soup for almost a month, so it's a belated congratulations on your BIG win in the important international contest! witty, amusing poetry....Don is a pleasure to have around he makes life interesting. Almost as good as you!! Oh I live in west central Georgia and we have been in a drought....it is still a slow rain falling right now and I pray for much more.
