Dandelion Star

A star that was purchased recently Was given the name Dandelion Star As the cosmic wind blows every spring Offsprings of Dandelion Star are born Filling the second heaven with glow Like the glow of your short life on earth That filled the hearth and home of your family God has given you a special place For your Light to shine forever more Oh! daughter precious child of God loved For you I've purchased Dandelion Star In the heavens as constant presence And memory of you my birth mother

Sara, this was so moving. My mother is a "star" in the heavens now too, and I'm sorry for your loss. She's looking down on you with pride, dear poet. Love, Carolyn

enlightening tribute! Sara! I'm taking my 80 yr. old Mother to the market today, she has a bad heart, and I cherish every moment with her, love, jimbo

My birth mother died when I was sixteen months old...I was told that she died of cancer...I have not been able to get a death certificate to find out what her cause of death actually was...She had four sons and one daughter spaced about five years apart..Four of my brothers died at around fifty-five years old and one lived to be sixty-five...I am the only surviving child of that family..
