Dancing On the Water Waves

A splash event is in the air A delightful glory She dances on the water waves Telling of a story She would be so free, casting off Barefoot she runs along The shore meets up with her desires While she sings a fine song She reaches out to find her peace As she jumps up for joy Looking for love within the waves Finding what she enjoys Down the shoreline she meanders Dancing with lots of glee She goes into the deep darkness But can still clearly see

This was quite bouncy to me as I read it. I like the personification used and lovely rhyme. I also noticed within the verses the dance slowly wound down. Quite a feat to me. Enjoyed and will have to look up another form...oh well, it's fun and I'm learning something new !!
