Dancing Leaves

Golden leaves are dancing in the street, happily, for autumn skies don't show that soon, by evening glow, shall be first snow, yet they shall meet decease with glee replete! Merrily they frolic to-and-fro. How do leaves dance so without two feet? Oh, if like the leaves we each could greet our days with zest, death never to foreknow. Andrea Such a fun and descriptive write. You took me on a journey with these leaves that are free and full of joy. Nicely done Thanks for the wonderful comment on my Drink and Drown poem.

I sure never thought of it this way, I mean wonder how they dance-- really like how you asked that question, Andrea! And yup, how nice it would be to just be able to be happy and not worry sometimes...enjoyed your analogy for leaves here, sweetie :)

I can't imagine what the problem is, Andrea. I suppose it would be nearly impossible for Connie to keep up with all poetry and replies, but when you address something specifically to me......? Change that - the reply should automatically have my PFT address on it. You did say you are getting my poems, right? Beats hell out of me. Love, daver

I also want to know how they do it Andrea, when they dance there is some kind of freedom attached to it.. Thought provoking gem for the contest.. Hope you are doing okay.. Love Wilma

Hey there, love this one that seems at first to be all light and air, and then 'leaves' us with a lovely zap of thought (death never to foreknow). I am pretty sure Carol will put this high up there. I would :-) I am thinking about the leaf that won't let go. The opposite of yours. The leaf that holds on for dear life. I'm not certain yet. I am also thinking of how some bushes make me think of the "GREAT I AM"... full of flame... right now I am zonked and hittin' hay. Wanted to say hi- hugscyndi

I don't know how I could block your hot mail, but, no, I haven't received anything. Keep trying, old friend, even if it is through the soup. Always love to hear from you. Love, daver
