Dancing Leaves
Autumn winds arrive and bring
A stirring through the trees,
The time is nigh for quiet woods
To fill with dancing leaves,
In tiny tempests they will swirl
And flutter all around,
Then when spent, their time now done
They fall upon the ground.
The woodland floor gaily adorned
For countless leaves now lie,
'Twas if a mosaic sent from heaven
Had rained down from the sky.
