The heavens have opened up, it is pouring outside. The flowers and trees will be happy tonight. God heard nature's thirsty cry, now all is well. It is a welcome rain after a hot, dry spell. Watching the rain brings back happy memories as a child, Playing in a downpour, being free and wild. You never see adults impulsively dancing in the rain. Pure joy is at our fingertips, if we just act like a child again. Written 9/25/16

Your poem really made me smile Brenda - oh those carefree days of childhood where nothing phased us... I don't dance in the rain but i don't mind walking in it:-) hugs Jan xx

Thank you Jan. It's been awhile since I danced in the rain too.

Delightful, Brenda - a simple gift simply presented as a reminder to us all. I enjoyed your write. (Hey, some #s messed with the end of line 2, stanza 2.) All the best ... CayCay

Thank you CayCay. Yes I just saw the error. Sometimes when it posts it does strange things. I fixed it. :)
