Since the dance video will for some strange reason a problem to some people, I cannot link it here. Therefore you will have to do with the poem alone. SHAME, really.....
It is ART!
And as the light fades I am asking you
Lift me
Take me in your arms and dance with me
The way we used to dance
My mass of tangled bangs sweaty and swirling
My green eyes catching yours
My feet, my feet
...
My feet on all five toes and pirouette
Be my dance partner again
Be the strong man and not just lift me
for that one throw
that one
that will let me fly and land
on my feet, my feet
...
My feet and spinning back into your arms
Lift me and dance with me
Forget about the fear of hurting me
Forget about my back
Be strong for me
Be strong and dance with me
Be my feet, my feet
...
My feet and let me live again
For one night let me live again.
