Daddy's Little Girl
I watched you grow up
Playing from pillar to post
You were just a very little girl
I was a social lad
But now a gentle man
Am not a very little boy
I have seen what you see
And heard what you hear
You are just a little girl
I have my eyes in the sky
My ears to the ground
Am not a little boy
I have been were you are
And known what you know
You are just mummy's little girl
I have made my mistakes
And I try to amend
Am not mummy's little boy
I know what you want
And how you feel
You are just daddy's little girl
I will lead you aright
And be by your side
Am not daddy's little boy
