Daddy's Girl
I've always been perfect in his eyes
I guess you could call me "Daddy's Girl"
That's always how it's been
Little girls are the apple of daddy's eye
It's an unwritten rule
It always has been
And it always will be
Daddy's girl till the end!
He protects me and protects me however he can
He shows me everyday he loves me
I guess I'm lucky
Most don't have this Daddy's Girl bond
Between father and daughter
I can go running to him for comfort
Whenever I need it
Even now, even though I'm 18
I still know where I can go
It's my special place to cry
My daddy's arms
Like always I find comfort there
