Daddy Dane Had His Eye on Bree

It cannot be blah, simple or plain And it must hold books said Daddy Dane It must be outstanding, like a tree Something to catch the eye of Bree Bree was a woman who loved a good book She was a glorious baker, and sometimes a cook Daddy Dane had his eye on her for sure The book nook he built was pretty and pure. Bree spent many an hour reading in there Daddy Dane watched her twist her pretty hair Did he ever make a move? Someone asked me. No, He was terrified he might be rebuffed by Bree.
