Dad

As the rain falls around me, With no cares, feelings or worries, The tears drip helplessly down my cheeks, As I think of the father I never really knew. But I wish he was near me now. To listen, To understand. To explain, To help me when I'm down. Just to be there. Why did he have to die? How different everything would have been. Why did it have to be my Dad? Yes my Dad? Imagine if your Dad died. You could never know the hurt, The loss, the pain. You could never say with any conviction, I understand. Until it happens to you...
