Cycle

I feel caught in this cycle unable to break. Caught in a dream unable to awake. Stuck in a web of lies my mistake. Even though the ice was thin I still chose to skate. Still chose to fake that I didn't see the signs staring me right in the face. So where am I at now I'm stuck running in place. And instead of slowing down im steadily picking up pace. Aimlessly looking aimlessly I'm searching. Pause rewind switch it up from first person. Tell me do you get to a point your stuck right in place? You don't know which way to turn which way to face. You look for the direction the wind is now blowing. But the air just stays still and no other cues are yet showing. Taking a step forward you hope its the right way. But three steps further you find to your dismay. An empty path no excitement nothing makes sense. Your trapped and guarded caged in by a fence. All your past troubles suddenly begin to resurface. You question their presence you question their purpose. What lesson is this being laid out to be learned. And at the end of the lesson what is to be earned. The struggle you've beared the fight you've survived. Battered and bruised you made it out alive. But just when you reach safety your faced with new trouble. Another obstacle to run a disorganized new puzzle. Your pacing quickly your feet begin to shuffle. You outline your steps as you hop over puddles. Hoping not to fall in want to find your way home. But the more that you search you continue to roam. A cloud overhangs the sky looks quite hazy. Please don't rain again I want the sun to save me. I need some shelter please don't come chase me. I just want the security that you had once gave me.
