My wife and I were at Costco and shopped there today. We thought we could get to the 24-hour CVS in time to pick up a presciption. CVS pharmacies close between 1:30-2:00 PM for their lunch period. The traffic was bad, but we got there in time, parked, and I jogged to the back of the store. There was one customer being served who was finishing. However, the person managing the pharmacy employees would not let them serve me. She told me they would be closing in a minute, and I would have to wait a half hour. I said really....I have my credit card and the prescription is ready--it's just a pickup. The employees were there and were staring. She said I should know better than to show up just before they normally close.
Euphemistically a "No soup for you!"
Anyway, a half hour later I ended up waiting in a line, the manager engaged with me, and I said I hope you feel good about what you did, and I am just glad I don't work for you. They probably have video of these two encounters, which they should use for training, "How not to treat a customer."
