Cursed To Be Me

How do I escape Now that I’m trapped in Jack in the box feelings My heart the handle you turn on Make love jump out my mouth Like the fool I am How do I run No legs boxed in Face painted embarrassing Shades of incoherent Ramblings intend to Plant trees in long Deforestation has taken Its toll on you How do I flee Wings clipped Life stripped void Of physical feeling Left with only physical Dealing bad hands Losing countless games I still strain to keep My head above the Waves cover me in their Power Your power devours me Your will empowers My depression Insistence on dancing Cloudy ledges Falling continuously Head over heels in Evil puddles of Lust Yet you still trust My lies meant to paint Scenic words the Same wing clipped birds Try to fly through my sky But stuck in their nests I’m stuck in my nest The twigs chain my legs I’m unable to move No escape No running No flee I’m Cursed to be me
