Curse of the Angels

What kind of curse is it to be an angel? No will to have except that, Which is not yours. A servant eternal until that time, You are not needed. Merciful and merciless in equal measure, As long as the Will be Done. Power unsurpassed given to you, To be used only for others. Eyeless sight forever watching, The horrors of life below. Knowing only what you are meant to know, Never to be anything more. What kind of curse is it, To be an angel? To be condemned, Until your end.

Evan: Maybe being an angel isn't that bad. I'm on a "needs to know" basis in my family and I find as I get older I must sit and watch as mistakes are made and I'm not consulted. :o) However: No one has ever accused me of being an angel. Thanks for sharing with all of us on the soup. oldbuck

WOW! Your writing is amazing, deep! It got me thinking from a different perspective. "Knowing only what you are meant to know" #awesomeink
