Curious Mindset

Written: May 12, 2024 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Delicate views reveal fractured strands Grasping for straws, mere words alone Hidden from anxiety is a solitary grace We must share and embrace with fervor Proceed with dignity, in tranquil peace Roaming thoughts, unbridled perspectives. I'm engulfed by my views and obsessions. In hushed cries, a haunting melody lingers. A deep yearning, igniting visions of happiness.  Adept spirits notice delight and anguish. Deep in the heart, there was a lovely reverie. Fate weaves wonders in utopian timing. A standby is so precious, each minute counts.

Nice musings. There are always loose ends and loose ends stir questions.

SP, this poem reminds me of times I haven't known what to think or do about something...what the right course of action is. I always likened it to being in a fog and waiting for it to lift. Clarity comes and it sometimes means knowing that not acting right now is OK. Just saying....perhaps this is different from what you mean above. A painter artist once told me that once the painting is complete, he loses control of what people take from it and he was really OK with it.

Powerful, introspective--a verse deep from the heart, my friend. Fate weaves wonders--so true!

Your poem was captivating. Despite no rhyme scheme, it flowed..each line having its own fluidity and cadence. Seems as if your poem is a journey of the mind reflecting upon love and its 'solitary grace.' I especially liked "In hushed cries, a haunting melody lingers. A deep yearning, igniting visions of happiness. Using 'haunting' added another dimension to the reflection. Hope I'm making sense. It's a no-caffeine Monday :-) Have a great day, your poetess friend in Texas, Sara
