Cupid Pulls Back the Bow

Love can drop a sparrow, Beware the poison arrow, You don't care much do ya, You don't do no hallelujah. Love can be red hot, Cupid gave you what you got, Leave the green on your filthy feet, The last thing you want is to compete. The more that you get taught, The lesser you are caught, The heart is on a line, The belly full of wine. Love is hope disguised, You free fall but you rise, Clean off the dirt of earth, Romance is like rebirth. Cupid pulls back his bow, If you tingle then you know, It can be a prickly enterprise, Love and hope and birth a prize.
