Cupid Pulls Back the Bow
When the arrow hit,
I fell so fast,
A feeling like this,
Could it last?
A love so perfect,
The stars cried at night,
To be so in love,
And all wrongs were right,
Then I saw it,
The arrow once more,
Lodged in your skin,
Deeper than before,
You said you'd been shot,
Every day since we met,
That mine was the heart,
You'd never forget,
Now riddled with arrows,
We know love can kill,
But I've taken arrows for you,
And love I still will.
