Cumids - Fluid Cliques, Dynamic Realms

The greenness of their tall but human like bodies spoke for them most times when they talked, when they conversed in their Vegril common language, because chlorophyll had been researched as thoroughly as one would guess it ever could be, if inquiry is to be prized. I was the eco-medic in charge of the Apple workers cumids, the small white proliferations from just above their cheek bones which turned blue whenever a plant which they were near required water, because we’d taken to watering them just by changing the air surrounding them to rain just by a glance. With global warming we’d decided to figure out how to water them artificially, but conveniently. I had four cumids, two on each cheek, because I understood our physiology well and had studied medicine and ecology. The god of creation was still believable, so part of my job was to remove kids from their believing families when they wanted to be vegan or even just vegetation and when their parents were deriding them for it. We just believed the kids, although we could tell liars more easily than you would think. Once they got their Cumidian family, having left their religious sect, so all Christian groups were called nowadays, those who were puny through abuse expanded physically into healthy, sporty teenagers, and those who were were a bit over-weight in the hope that they would feel loved alternately by their religious parents in spite of their atheism and secularism, or Cumidism, became slim and elegant. The job was much respected by all interactive persons, and I loved removing an unhappy child from such a family. With the right of kings, Green bodies objectify, Daily life and health. The rescued kids played more Location Chess, the flying and levitational game that you played in the air by showing your strength when you moved your pieces which were all adult Cumidian size. It took balance, skill and sheer muscle, and of course you had to think about your move before you made it. I don’t know why chess had become so popular, but maybe our minds needed playfully sharpened so that we could become more intelligent at game theory, extensively used in businesses.
