'cryptic Notes'

Cryptic notes on dirt stained walls She gets to read the beating of your heart Instead of feeling it The distant cry of unrequited love So loud We heard it on the other side of town You wore it on your sleeve Proudly displayed Never doubting what you felt Even though she never acknowledged it You hoped she would reciprocate Until that day you got tired Of putting up a brave face You finally decided to move on ©131120151425

With all that potential direction in such a poem just point it towards the dark or the light the bloody or the murderous romantic and let people know. I was left not knowing how to feel exactly.

Well all things can be subject to change I reckon Wilma, true reflections from the life of someone, much like many others.' so much to emphasise in your writes, well done.'

wilma , I really like this. Do you write these kinds of poems based on friends or just out of the air (like I often do!)

Hi Andrea, it depends, like most of my writes they do have a human influence to it. But this one was definitely out of the air :)

That seems like a good decision. Sometimes people wait and wait and end up missing out on something real. Well expressed.
