Crying In Joyful Tears
The cloudy sky is dark
And the rain is falling;
People in the streets
For shelter, they go running.
After the heavy downpour
Appears the rainbow;
Signaling a promise
Of a brighter tomorrow.
There is a lonely man
In a very deep sorrow;
A sign of hopelessness,
Frustration and woe.
He is almost drowning
In the river of tears;
His heart is hurt,
His mind full of fears.
Then his eyes close,
And mind meditates;
Asking for God's mercy
Is what his heart dictates.
Sun suddenly shines,
And doubt disappears;
Happy man as he is now
Crying in joyful tears.
