Crossroads

How long will these tears flow- will sadness ever go How long, how dark the dawn- in despair ,I mourn How long, how long this night- drowning in pity's plight How long will I dwell in this place- of love,I find no trace How long 'til I discern your voice- to help me make a choice How long will I in depression hide- Holy Spirit come,.be my guide

I am sure he is there carrying through your time of depression Dear Friend! We all come to cross roads in our life and who better to carry us through them than the good lord above, you speak of spirtituality so well Brian, that lifts the soul and pierces the heart. I read your blog the other day Brian. Very impressive, and all the best of luck to you and more on your many adventures with your talented writing.

Brian, Depression, despair, and mourning can send one on a journey to the heart of pity. Your plea, in this poem, to the Holy Spirit is the only solution to an uplifting of the soul. Life can be a struggle. With our still, quiet, holy spirit-guide leading us, all pain can be vanquished. You have written well, the inner conflict of crossroads. God Bless you and may joy fill you up. Lovingly, Dane Ann
