Crazy Display
When belly hungers for food ,
Legs travel abroad to waste money on shoes ,
Heads are bald without hats or caps ,
Skins covered with leopard skin and still feel cold,
Mouths speak verbose words of shame .
Covetousness reigns supreme ,
As kindness swims in deep sea of oblivion ,
Wickedness shows his nakedness on the street ,
Video by innocent kids of the media .
When would our leaders stop this crazy display ?,
Whether upper or lower house ,
Corruption runs deep and very naïve ,
Veracity is bitter and sweet .
Bills were passed to favour their pockets ,
Mace –an instrument of authority for oppression
and display of tomfoolery moves up and down ,
“Decorum!, decorum!! in the house “shouts from the room,
As some remain seated in deep sleep…snoring ;
Orphans ,widows and the poor remain rejected and dejected,
As my stomach grumbles and rumbles with pain and ….
