Crazy

I won't surrender, I'll find my way I wish today was yesterday Still unsure as to where I'm headed I feel lost, but never say Flashes of complete understanding Coupled with days of me crash landing This great journey makes no sense Nor do these words I intend to dispense Some bits rhyme and others don't That's for me to decide. I wish I may, I wish I might Find some direction or glimpse of light I tumble onward, ever searching Attempts to end my stomach lurching My greatest ally is my mind Though, the greatest villain too I see things that others don't My thoughts at best, askew Until I have it figured out This path I must meander These words will always be put forth An attempt at total candor I'm on the up and out of here Though things are still quite hazy But tame my thoughts, I'd rather die! So grateful to be crazy

I wouldn't call you crazy, just a person marching to their own beat.
