Cowering

I am cowering inside this darkness calling my name. Echoing into the wind just to chase me. Someone help me with the creation, Breathing down my neck. The chains around my hands simply won't give, They cut into me with a vengence. My rage is all I have left in me. I'll fight to death, With a sword made of anger and a sheild of depression. Look into my eyes and see this little girl for what she is. No longer will I carry your burdens against my skin, I'll rip it away until nothing is left of me. The dirty little deeds that you love so much, Will no longer be contained inside my soul. For when the morning comes you'll disappear, Just like a figment of my darkest imagination. I will no longer be your ballerina dancing to your tune, Of hate, anger, and rage. I have created a new place to hide, Inside this world is where I was meant to be. Inside this world of fear. I cower against every strike of your horrid hands, Break me into the sand, Yet I will still rise into the wind, To cut you with my every temptation. I was looking for my savior, Instead I found the snake in the grass, Leading me into a pain that consumes my soul. Your whispered lies I rip from your smile tonight, You can't cage a soul refusing to die in your twisted little game. I have crashed against the shore of hope, The sand seeping into my heart, To kill you with your own seed of depression. Do you like my style, As I take your everything away. I won't go through this road of despair alone, I'll grab your hand and take you with me, We are going down tonight
