Cousin Wayne knew her girlfriend
Said this little blond would maybe send,
Me looking for more in the hall,
Long time ago in the fall,
Said i’d win her sight unseen,
An went to meet my beauty queen,
It happened that way that’s all,
Moved in with my babe I’d call,
With my Christine has happy been,
And life was good in between,
Till one day I went home to mum,
Returned was a little glum,
Cos my babe had left me that’s all,
Sitting there alone in the hall,
But I’ll give you the drum, bit late.
I’m still here chum, old mate…
