Could I

Could I sink into your breath And fall silent on your sheets Could I fulfill my lust for death Along my hearts lonely streets Could I play your neck like a violin On a naked bed of sorrowful regrets Could I invite you to some bathtub gin And when its empty smokey cigarettes To slowly kill what we have left We’ll cherish the pain of desire In a slumber of passionate rest We’ll wake with our hearts for hire
