Cosmic

My heart and space were peppered with stars While you and I collided like planets. The impact shook both worlds And ignited both hearts and fires that burned burned burned. But she and the sun burned brighter, And you left me alone just to simmer. My chest and a black hole both were empty, both held the dark, But the brightness of you and the meteors chased it away. You and the constellations wrote my name like it was calligraphy. And I watched with the man on the moon as you silently made the sky clear again. But you and the stars will disappear and the hours will feel like years until I can call you mine again tomorrow night.
