Coronavirus
Coronavirus
An inconvienance came about
enough to stir the routine mood
and take for granted heaven’s gift
as each day passes without fright
from China first in havocs wake
a virus with a great expanse
it came to choose each continent
and raged to take so many lives
pandemic slaves to what has wrought
with no support and bound to wait
the entrance of a dire change
until a cure was to be sought
to travel down an empty road
of canceled life and empty hands
that will not touch a sign of love
we must create a theme of hope
