Corn Puddin'

Into Mom’s old mixing bowl

  I dump the creamed corn…

toss in small box corn bread mix,

      one cup sour cream,

          butter, cheese.......then bake!

           Then wait for....

                    RAVES !!!!!!!

With so many people doing without these days, I am thankful to have a cupboard filled
with good things to fix for a holiday dinner. How fortunate I am never to go hungry!

Hi Carrie. Your note at the bottom is soooo appreciated. You are absolutely right! What I enjoyed about your entry was the simplicity of your recipe and the special flavor added from your mom's old mixing bowl. What a special touch. Thanks for supporting this contest...Tony and I appreciate it. We have so much to learn from successful poets like YOU> :) Gwendolen
