Coral Sunset
Look at the sky, oh look at the sky !
The center of the clouds are coral and pink.
A sunset for even the most discerning eye
and lovely, just lovely, well, that's what I think
as the daylight wanes and we're at sunsets brink.
The air is cooler, hot mugginess gone
but only for now, in the summer's eve.
It will return , we've no doubt, as tomorrow reaches dawn.
So for these evening hours we'll enjoy our reprieve
as with this colourful sky, another day takes her leave.
