"She" has been graciously sitting on her tiny island welcoming immigrants for many years. Your poem reminds all of us who live in freedom how blessed we are, James. Children need to remember, too, so every Halloween I dress in my Statue of Liberty costume, complete with torch, and greet them with a proud smile. You, too, are blessed to live in a free and beautiful country, James. The hills of the UK are beckoning! Love, Carolyn
