COPLA 98 INVOCATION : This Bad Guy World
Bad Guy nations club for protection
Of their ill-gotten gains and power :
Yet they too serve
On and off they do good and function
In worlds which tilt in their favour
Power reserve
Their hegemony put to the test
Brings out the worst in them as allies :
Greed cunning vice
They club together to avoid contest
Of sharing the world’s goods with all lives :
Break the blocked ice
