Hello Dave! If the poet should explain his poem, then he has either failed in his composition or simply the reader has not done his "homework", but you are, at least, inquisitive, and you deserve some sort of explication. First, this's the 70th of the sequence; second, "God" or the non-anthropomorphic Immuable Law of the Universe (does exist) is here cast in the role of the dramatist, and Man ("His" creation) imitates the Master, and thus slaps Him in the face! Thanks. Wignesan
