"RAISE UP A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO AND WHEN HE IS OLD HE WILL NOT DEPART FROM IT.
Prov. 22:6
"THE DAYS OF THE BLAMELESS ARE KNOWN TO THE LORD, AND THEIR INHERITANCE WILL ENDURE FOREVER."
Psalm 37:18
Contentment is a state of mind,
Resulting from experience;
And wisdom plays a healthy role,
In finding this inheritance;
Passed down to us from gentle hands,
And love hearts through time.
As we observe our parents lives,
Our own lives are refined.
We emulate the things they do;
Take on unconscious manners,
Knowing not that we've acquired,
These traits from family standards;
And so it is we learn our ways,
From all those 'round about us.
Be careful where your children play,
For others do imprint us,
With notions that are not our own,
But learned in other places;
So watch them closely till they're grown,
And know what social grace is.
Teach them how to be content,
Through love and self control.
Though they may stray a little while,
They'll come back to the fold.
