How can you say that you are happy and complete
when it''s obvious to us both, everyday
you retreat.
Into your shell of brick and stone, when I try
to get in you''re emotionally not home.
With each passing year it feels like an old ugly
shoe, torn with holes tattered and used.
The best years of my life I have given to you
and still whenever your home, I''m lonely
and blue.
Communication is something you definitely lack
but how can a relationship be built without
that? So if this is the way that you are
content to be.... Then I must say goodbye
and find contentment for me.
