Contemplation

the leaves of autumn once vibrant against october's gray slate and windrowed against long forgotten stone boundaries - once kicked and shuffled through on the wooded path that leads to nowhere ...except thoughtful pauses. now lay an earthy rouge on the forest floor fiddleheads lift the rusty shroud and remind us of what we already know...
