Consumption

Sweet delights in your tempestuous eyes do I see. A mere turn of your lip towards your eyes Tells me that your intentions are not pure I do not know the reason behind your desire What could it be to set your eyes ablaze? Let me take a chance and say That it might be lust or greed Lo! Blinded by my prejudices; I did not foresee those unyielding eyes! I have a better answer to this villainous gaze. It is like a black hole Infinitely consuming Never satiating Destruction is its path Taking with it all Voracious Rapacious Desirous Unrelenting Power

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
