Constant Dreaming

The world will change around you But you dreams will never change The people will make fun of you And say you're crazy and strange. People will take away your very existance If they see it, it's gone They strip you of your life, your love And even of your favorite song. Sometimes, things get in the way Of us following our dreams It cancels out the good things It blots out our life's gleam. But nothing is as real as a dream Because it is forever within you It's a special part of a human being That will forever remain pure and true. Nothing can ever change your dream Nothing can wash it away Responsibilities aren't more important Than what you can dream today. For if you can't dream, then you're alone With thoughts that will torment your soul With no dreams to take the pain away With no love that which can flow. So always stay with constant dreams For inside you, it shall stay Don't be afraid to live your dreams For no one can take it away.
