Connection and Purpose
There’s a sofa in the wilderness,
There’s a seat in the forest,
There’s a place for you in evolution,
For your right, time, space and air.
There’s a twinkle in the blue tit’s eye,
When he sings to you sweetly entertaining,
There’s an inkling in the dying oak,
When your death is coming sometime, definitely.
Plants grow upwards, I grow upwards,
Leaves fall from the trees, hair’s cut off,
Eyelids are opened by all animals, I awake to see the light,
A mum bear tickles her cub’s tummy and my mum has tickled me,
The king lion’s muscles are taught in stride, I run with enormous strength,
A panda hugs her baby with stealthy arms, mine are for such,
Our hearts beat the rhythm of blood,
And I see where I have come from, holding to it firmly.
Only happiness pervades,
Since evolution’s inclusivity serves the universal;
All things having voice in the canvass.
