The more we know about how the government is supposed to work, the more we can determine how to vote to make it work.

Congress By Franklin Price 2/16/2016 Congress there to make the laws Where bills originate Then sent off to the president To find what is their fate The President may sign them Putting laws into the book Or stamp them with a veto Putting Congress on the hook The Pres may be negated In the Constitution's way Which means that in the very end The process has its say Been a long time since this process Has worked as it was writ Congress has not worked so well Even not a little bit The members are so conscious That they risk their cushy work When they vote against their party line Makes their masters go berserk We the people do not matter Parties seldom cross the aisle There is no bridge between them Just a defecation pile We elected all these people Yes, the House and Senate too This year let's just vote them out Replace them with someone new Let them know we've had enough We're fed up with their crap We're here to vote them out of there To take them off the map Tell the new ones coming in To let we the people have a say It's we who voted to put you there Now get to work and earn your pay
