~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the quiet spaces between heartbeats, where shadows dance with whispers, there lies the melody of forgiveness. It sings softly, a warm gentle breeze that caresses weary souls, offering solace in its tender embrace. Notes of empathy intertwine with chords of understanding, forming a symphony of healing. Each refrain a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, of the capacity to release the weight of bitterness and resentment. Forgiveness is not a single note, but a complex harmony, a confluence of forgiveness and kindness. It resonates through the chambers of the heart, echoing through the corridors of time, a harmony of liberation and renewal. In its melody, we find redemption, a path forward from darkness to light, a hymn of love and kindness unfurled in the sacred space of forgiveness.
Receiving forgiveness is beautiful, a melody, a hymn. I also relate to the C.S Lewis quote, "We all agree that forgiveness is a beautiful idea until we have to practice it". The repeated /s/ sounds, and extended sentences in stepped lines of 3 with vocab re songs throughout the poem make it move gently and seem full of sunlight. J :)
