Conffessions

Confessions Fighting with you couldn’t get me nowhere Crying wouldn’t get me somewhere I’m hopeless, I’m breathless After you cheated, my mind was twisted Seeking for love Seeking for soul mate to survive So I keep on looking… Looking for a better coal Looking for a better soul The heart you gave was sour Not the one I was looking for I’m standing on the love door I’m knocking… Open your heart when I’m stalking Open your ears when I’m talking I saw a distance Spaces between our hearts Darkness with no lights Your soul meant to love me someday But your heart is million miles away Look at me in spirit You will see the scars in my face What kind of love that has no grace Your trust is little like a cloth lace I never see how bad it is Until I confess how my heart feels

Qaqambile Tshomela, AWESOME, ,Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. The only time I give constructive criticism is when a poet desires it. However, if for some reason the poem is not my field I will guide you to someone who is more qualified than I. Stop by and read one of my poems if you like. My poems are not perfect, but I have a feeling you might like one. I encourage you to check out the contest page and read to receive comments. Tell me a little about your poetic skills if you like. It will be my pleasure to follow and read every poem you post from here on :) We are Lucky To Have you. Your New Poet Friend @-> LINDA <-@

Enjoyed your poem-- especially the metaphor of "Looking for a better coal." This poem is lovely (though I did cringe over the word "stalking." I believe you meant as a gait, but the connotation of the word -- to hunt, to pursue a person illegally-- tripped me up, made me uncomfortable) The rest however is wonderfully said. Welcome to Soup! I hope you post more poetry and find time to read what others poets have posted.
