Confessions of Love
Confessions Of love
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Darlin,
If I were but the rose,
you clutch within your hand
or just a moment in your day
words written in the sand.
If I were but the song,
the bird sings upon your window seal
or the smile perched on your face
the kisses I could steal.
If I were but the stars,
your wishes would come true
the world could be a canvas
for memories of us two.
If only I could catch but a glance,
it'd be, more precious than gold
and hold a chapter in your life
it would be, the greatest story told.
