Coney Island Baby (Song)

Coney Island Baby Copyright Corinne Curcio February 21, 2009 http:soundclick.com/share?songid=7362689 Coney Island Baby Let’s take the subway Cool off at a Brooklyn beach On this dreamy steamy day Coney Island Baby Glamorous, amorous and fair Rising from the platinum waves Aphrodite with windswept hair Shells on the shore Sand on our toes Seahorses dart Love blooms in our anemone hearts Coney Island Baby Let’s go to the Penny Arcade Stroll the boardwalk, eat ice cream For you and me this was made Coney Island Baby Ride the Ferris Wheel with me Up in the air, round and round With the seagulls, wild and free Laughing with glee At those below We’ll fly so high Touching clouds in the sky Coney Island Baby Hear the carousel calliope sound? Put your arms around me now Let’s kiss as the red hot sun goes down

This brought back so many memories..riding through Brooklyn on the D train all the way to Coney Island and the broadwalk... this is well done...

I wish we had audio, and so agree with Daver about wanting to hear it. Love and peace

Where the hell is everybody, Corinne? This is a treat. I'd like to hear the music. I won a 7th place with "Sunken Cathedral" now here it is again. Personally I think the poem is stodgy, but what the hell. I'm gonna read a lot more of your stuff 'cause I love it. Love, daver
