Concentric Borders of Safety

Amidst the madness of gunfire we found a safety haven. Passing through concentric borders sounds faded into birds chirping and water trickling in a tropical oasis. In the center was a cradle and a baby sleeping peacefully wrapped in soft flannel gave a little sigh and curled its tiny fingers.
