Compassion
Always refreshing, always warming
To help another in need;
To be that shoulder to cry on.
To find someone unknown to you
And welcome them into your life;
To get them through their crisis of the heart
And earn a place in theirs.
To show them they're not alone
And make it so for you.
To give of yourself,
And in so doing
Receive.
