Come To Enjoy
I’m afraid of being alone on
A shadowy night
With a storm rolling strong
I’m afraid that you’ll see
The man I’ll eventually become
And with out a hit or trace
Your up and gone
It’s the fear that drives me to compete
With myself for as long as I see
It’s the fear of dying alone
Never finding my journey
To discover what I’m meant to be
It’s your eyes that are there
Causing me to stare
Through the dark twisted mind set
Which isn’t At all clear
I fear all the world
Cause I’m a little boy
I feel the pain and guilt from my personal choice
Putting everything at risk I’ve come to enjoy
I sleep with the thought
Forgetting everything I was taught
Losing track of myself
Those sweet thoughts of riches and wealth
My needs my wants all my yearns and desires
Plague me like saddened darkened Fires
It’s the loss of a one that turns to another
Swept away happiness life it brings
For years of solitude have led me to you
Now I’m praying for thee
That these fears don’t come true
For the dreams that I see are forever fear
And the life that I breathe though simple & sweet
Someday I know will never be complete
