Bill, we were not that athletic so it would be a first for us. My husband used to go fishing on the river and on creeks when he was growing up though. Thanks for the kind review of my work. Sara K

Dear Sara, This poem touched my heart. The anticipation in the simple lines, the promise whispered on a hot day, creates a wonderful scene.
